Hi! My name is Pino and I currently lease homes of others to great people who enjoy the spirit and love of life. I have been leasing properties since 1998. This project has afforded me the opportunity to meet interesting people from all over the world.

Since 1998, I have lived in Hermosa, Beach, CA and began leasing out my own. I am originally from Montreal, Canada (Italian-Canadian) and moved to Hermosa during the summer of 1998. I'm a Computer Engineer by profession who shifted into account management for the benefit of travel and the ability to help solve customer problems. I've always been interested in talking with and helping people. I have worked in the Digital Video Entertainment field with many broadcasters, Post production companies and OEMs since 1992. 

Life does lead you to interesting places, if you allow yourself! My last stories... I took a hiatus for about 4 years as an investor in a film production and distribution company. I quickly learned why I was so attracted to the technical side of the business. Enough on that! In 2006, while trying to find a sport for my then 9 year old son, I stumbled across a mixed martial arts (MMA) and self defense school, Lotar Self Defense now called ELITE TRAINING CENTER . While I watched him learn the techniques, I soon became fascinated with the sport and self defense so I decided to give it a try. The MMA portion is a great sport which is very technical,  full of challenges and will push you to your limits and surpass them. I train every day when I can and wish I discovered it when I was younger so I could try to compete at some level. Today (2011), I teach at the school and when time permits I participate in submission grappling tournaments. My other passion is sport motorcycles, I love them. The concentration required is relaxing. Sounds funny but true! I owned a Suzuki SV650 but traded it in for a Ducati 748! Older model but still rides like a Duke!

So, getting back to 1998; I had a dream to own a few special properties where guests can stay, relax and remember to enjoy life. I hope that one can relax, laugh, cry and truly enjoy who they are in a calm and beautiful environment. So I began renting out my home. Due to unforeseen circumstances and life's twists, I had to sell my great home in 2007. However, in January 2005, a friend wanted to rent out his house, so we discussed it decided that I would rent his place out during the summer season. From this word of mouth started and I have several units I manage today. Well I did before the housing bubble burst in 2008!

I think Hermosa Beach is a very special place and I would love to share my experience of it with others. I feel it is important that potential guests feel comfortable and at ease with their decision to stay in our homes for their holiday or getaway. As a result of this need, I decided to add a few pictures so that guests can visually identify who I am. Given that most guests will probably find this property on the internet and we'll most likely communicate via email which is all effective and efficient but still somewhat impersonal. So my son Mariano and I say "Hi from Hermosa! and look forward to meeting you soon Ciao..."
