Hi! My name is Pino Barile and I rent out my home and those of others to great people who enjoy the spirit and love of life. I have been renting out my home since 1998 and others for sometime now. This project has afforded me the opportunity to meet interesting people from all over the world.

Since 1998, I have lived in Hermosa, Beach, CA. I am originally from Montreal, Canada (Italian-Canadian) and moved to Hermosa during the summer of 1998. I'm a Computer Engineer by profession who shifted into account management for the benefit of travel and the ability to help solve customer problems. I've always been interested in talking with and helping people. I currently work in the Digital Video Entertainment field with many broadcasters, Post production companies and OEMs. I've also ventured into independent film production and distribution with a partner who is a successful actor and director. Today I am a partner in a company called RAPIDA MEDIA, where we provide indie film makers with a great avenue to distribute their titles and make money. Life does lead you to interesting places, if you allow yourself to see them! My last story... In 2006, while trying to find a sport for my 10 year son, I stumbled across a mixed martial arts (MMA) and self defense school, Lotar Self Defense. While I watched him learn the techniques, I soon became fascinated with the sport and self defense so I decided to give it a try. The MMA portion is a great sport which is very technical,  full of challenges and will push you to your limits and surpass them. I train every day when I can and wish I discovered it when I was younger so I could try to compete at some level. My other passion is sport motorcycles, I love them. The concentration required is relaxing. Sounds funny but true! I own a Suzuki SV650 but hope to try a DUCATI 1098 soon.

So, getting back to to 1998; during this time I decided to venture in the vacation rental market. Why? Well, I have a dream to own a few special properties where guests can stay, relax and remember to enjoy life. I hope that one can relax, laugh, cry and truly enjoy who they are in a calm and beautiful environment.

I think Hermosa Beach is a very special place and I would love to share my experience of it with others. I feel it is important that potential guests feel comfortable and at ease with their decision to stay in our homes for their holiday or getaway. As a result of this need, I decided to add a few pictures so that guests can visually identify who I am. Given that most guests will probably find this property on the internet and we'll most likely communicate via email which is all effective and efficient but still somewhat impersonal. So my son Mariano and I say "Hi from Hermosa! and look forward to meeting you soon Ciao..."
